Connect your phone number
Tier 2 customers — skip this page. Your plan ships with the unlimited DFY parallel dialer and unlimited numbers included. This setup is only for Tier 1 (Operator) where dialing is pay-per-usage on your own Twilio account.
To make calls and send SMS in WarMachineCRM, you connect your own Twilio account. Ten minutes one time. Twilio bills you directly for usage — typically $20–$40/mo for active SDR work.

STEP 15 MIN
Create a Twilio account
- Go to twilio.com
- Sign up using your business email
- Verify your business with EIN (required for A2P)
- Add a credit card — you get $15 free trial credit
STEP 23 MIN
Buy a phone number
- Twilio dashboard → Phone Numbers → Buy a Number
- Pick a number in your preferred area code
- $1.15/month for the number rental
- Make sure it has Voice + SMS capabilities
STEP 31 MIN
Get your Twilio credentials
- Twilio dashboard → Account → API Keys & Tokens
- Copy your Account SID (starts with "AC…")
- Copy your Auth Token — click "view" to reveal
STEP 42 MIN
Connect Twilio to your CRM
- WarMachineCRM → Quick Access → Settings (or open your CRM directly)
- Settings → Phone System → Twilio
- Paste Account SID + Auth Token
- Click "Connect"
- Map your Twilio number as the default outbound caller ID
STEP 55 MIN, ONE-TIME
Register A2P 10DLC for SMS
- Twilio's setup wizard guides you through this
- Required by US carriers since 2023 for outbound SMS
- Costs ~$50 one-time + small per-campaign approval fees
- Without it, your SMS won't deliver
